If you have ever bought a home, you know that it can be a wonderfully exciting, nervewracking, thrilling, terrifying, exhausting and exhilarating experience! Amplify all of that by doing it from another province. We hesitated about having a home inspection done, but our realtor suggested we call and have a conversation with a couple of the inspectors, to help us feel comfortable with our decision, or the inspector ~ if we changed our minds.We are very happy that Rob was one of the inspectors we called. From the very first conversation he was very open, explaining exactly what we could expect from him. I think he undersold himself.We met Rob at the house just as he was finishing his inspection and he walked us through the property explaining what he saw. He was very patient and generous with his time and knowledge; answering our questions as much as he was able, and putting everything into perspective. He never spoke over our knowledge levels, never left us feeling like we were asking silly questions, or left us unsure about what he was explaining. Afterward, he provided us with a very complete report that combined photos with explanations. We feel like we have received a very good, impartial perspective into the house, and we know what we are buying. The report will serve as a 'to do' list with great advice about how to best approach it.To say we are pleased would be an understatement. If you are hesitating about having a home inspection completed... don't. We highly recommend Rob if you want it Dunn Right ... he does!!! ?
